There are no dings, scratches, or marks on the guitar and it plays great! The Gibson Les Paul Standard has been around for decades and it’s changed in various ways over time. The latest Les Paul to be the Standard bearer happens to be the most diverse Les Paul in Gibson’s line. Along with the mahogany body, mahogany neck, maple top (here it’s gorgeous AA flame maple), and rosewood fretboard that typifies the Les Paul guitar, the latest Standard veers from tradition by having a compound 10-16” radius, an asymmetrical Slim Taper neck, and a modern weight-relieved body.
